Al-Anon

Alcoholics Anonymous

DAN 24/7
The Wales Drug & Alcohol Helpline, DAN 24/7 is a free and bilingual telephone helpline providing a single point of contact for anyone in Wales wanting further information or help relating to drugs or alcohol. Helpline: 0808 808 2234.
Drinkaware
Drinkaware is an independent charity which aims to reduce alcohol-related harm by helping people make better choices about their drinking. You can take a drinking check and there is an online chat (9 am–2 pm on weekdays). To speak to someone at Drinkline you can call 0300 123 1110 (weekdays 9 am–8 pm, weekends 11 am–4 pm). The website has lots of advice, tips and tools to help you reduce your drinking or give up alcohol.
National Association for Children of Alcoholics
Provides information, advice and support for anyone affected by a parent’s drinking, including adults. Helpline: 0800 358 3456 or email helpline@nacoa.org.uk – there are also online message boards.

WithYou
WithYou is a drug, alcohol and mental health charity. With over 80 services across England and Scotland, they provide support and advice to more than 100,000 people a year. Search for local support. You can chat online with a trained recovery worker Monday–Friday 9 am–9 pm and Saturday–Sunday 10 am–4 pm.
