It is estimated that around 246,000 people in the UK are problem gamblers, and 2.2 million people are ‘at-risk’ gamblers.

Gam-Anon UK & Ireland

If you are affected by someone else’s gambling, then Gam-Anon can help. Meetings are for anyone who has been affected by a loved one’s gambling problem. Gam-Anon and G.A. meetings are usually held on the same nights but in separate rooms. What is said in each room is kept confidential so that members in both rooms don’t need to worry about sharing their problems or concerns. There are also online meetings via Zoom. Find a meeting.

 

Gamblers Anonymous

Gamblers Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other so that they may solve their common problem and help others do the same. Meetings are held every day of the week throughout England, Wales and Ulster. A free, confidential NHS service supporting people who are experiencing harm from gambling aged 13 to 18 years from anywhere in England, and 18 or over in London and the Southeast. Also, urgent help if this results in a mental health crisis.
